- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?We do not charge by sq. ftg. I charge by room. A 2 room cleaning is $85, 3 room cleaning is $110, 4 room cleaning is $140, 5 room cleaning is $165. 6 rooms $185.00. Each additional room is $20. Cleanings with less than 3 rooms is $1.50 per stair and $5 for hallways no charge for closets. Cleanings with 3 rooms or more there is no charge for stairs,closets or hallways. An additional charge may be applied to heavily stained carpets. There is a $10 charge per room for carpet protector (Stain Guard). We will move light furniture as in coffee tables,night stands,chairs, sofas ect. no sectionals. We do not move entertainment centers or cabinets or anything with breakables in them. Commercial 1,000 sq. ft. or less is $0.19 per sq. ft., 1,000 - 5,000 sq. ft. $0.13 per sq. ft. and more than 5,000 is $0.09 per sq. ft. Taxes and deodorizer are included in the price.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?We walk them through our cleaning process. Starting with what weI will use as a cleaning agent for the type of carpet and the condition it is in. We pre-treat heavy stains and then treat the carpet and begin cleaning. Once we finish we ask the customer to check it over to make sure its to their satisfaction. What I quote before the job is what our customer pays. We do not add anything once we get their. If for some reason the customer is not happy with a room we will re clean or refund for the room.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I got started doing this part time. Cleaning for friends and family and the demand got much bigger. I now do this full time with 1 other employee.
