FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My consultation fee is $100. I charge for my legal services by an hourly rate for some cases. My hourly rate is $275 an hour. I also charge flat fee rates for some uncontested divorce and custody cases, contempt cases and other types of legal matters. I also charge flat fees in some cases for me providing limited scope representation in family law cases to assist clients step by step in a case or in certain parts of a case and not in for the entire case at one time.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I speak with the client by phone or e-mail to get a general understanding of the client's case. I then set up an initial consultation meeting with the client either on Skype or in my office. The fee for this initial consultation is $100 for thirty minutes. At this consultation meeting I will review important documents with the client, understand better what their problem is and let the client know how I can help. If I can help the client and we agree to work together I will sign a retainer agreement with the client and obtain either a retainer or a flat fee payment. I will them begin working closely with the client to help them resolve their legal problem.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated with honors from Towson University with a B.A. in Communication Studies. I graduated from the University of Baltimore Law School where I focused my studies on litigation. I am a trained mediator and have many life experiences that allow me to provide excellent legal services, support, hope and assistance to my clients as I help them walk through some of the most difficult and scariest times of their life into a new, better, happier tomorrow.
