- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
***Take Advantage of INTRODUCTORY PRICING until the new year! Currently, I am working on building up a client base and am doing introductory pricing in exchange for honest reviews of my work. My pricing is tailored specifically for each client depending on their needs. Ideally, my full package will include three resume revisions, a one hour Skype session, and a revamp of their LinkedIn (web) presence. My resume revisions are all encompassing, I will be sure to catch any grammar/spelling errors, ensure that resume is asethetically pleasing (concise, symetrical, appropriate for indsutry applying to), and most importantly focuses on achievements. I review resumes for action words that highlight achievements, and help my clients to add language that provides concrete proof to their achievements. Lastly, my Skype session will include the opportuntiy to go over career goals, prepare client for interview, and review and revamp their overall LinkedIn (web) presence.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process always include a brief phone call or Skype session so that I can get to know my new client. I want to understand the industry/jobs they are applying to and what their overall goals are. When revamping or creating someones resume I must have a strong understanding of their professional background to best market and represent them within their resume. Once I have the neccesary information, I immediately get to work! I offer my clients up to three resume reviews to make sure they are 100% satisisfied with my services.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I graduated college with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Allied Health Sciences. My original plan was to become a Speech-Language Pathologist, and upon deciding that was not my passion I fell into the Recruiting/Staffing industry. My unique background of sciences and business has given me a well rounded view of working with candidates. Additionally, I understand the stress and emotional toll that switching industries can have on a person. I believe that is what fuels my passion, the fact that I took a risk and tried something new that has made me very happy!
