Anthony at Rose City Home Inspections was awesome to work with, he went way beyond want I would expect from an inspector. But he made us feel confident in our purchase but also gave us helpful information on our home. He even gave us a book to help with maintenance and a housewarming gift. A+

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have worked in and around real estate for 20+ years and was trained by agents on speaking with and handling clients during the buying and selling process. I have also been working in general contracting and building for many years and gained a deep understanding of residential building practices. I believe this give me a unique understanding of the buyers during this period and it allows me to help educate as well as inspect your new home.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

When you speak to an inspector, you should feel confident in their ability to do a professional inspection, but I believe you need to feel like they are truly looking out for your best interests. Our role as inspectors is to see, test, report. I think an inspection should provide an education on your new home, it should give you confidence with your purchase, and you should walk away ready for closing.
