I had a small tile install job, but Val took it on and was very professional in his advice about how to proceed what type of tile to use. He placed me into his schedule at the soonest possible time and kept with that schedule. His work was exceptional in quality and I was more than pleased with the result. I asked him to some additional carpet repair work since he was already at my place and he likewise completed that job in excellent fashion. Highest rating for this contractor and I will use his services again!

I liked everything about working with Standridge Floorcovering Services. Their bid was less than some we had received, and more than others but their bid was economical and realistic. Their work was excellent, and they accomplished the entire project quickly. ...and that's when we threw in a change to the project unexpectedly. They adapted well to the change in scope and they were quite reasonable in how it effected the overall cost to the project. What was the project? It was over 600 sq ft of vinyl wood plank flooring and about 55 sq ft of fairly delicate stonework. Originally I had told them it would be 55 sq ft of ceramic tile, so it was quite the curveball. I'm very pleased with the results. Most importantly, I'd use Standridge Floorcovering Services again.

Details: Laminate • 501 - 750 sq ft • Carpet • No, but I plan to purchase the flooring • Residential

I hired and made the choice to find another professional by the second day. Day one, he was late. Looked at my kitchen and added an additional $350 for backerboard. The cement board he purchased cost approximately $11 sheet for a total of $66. I have asked for a copy of the receipt and have not been provided one, but was able to look the prices up on Lowe’s - where he stated he purchased the item. He left to pick up the items and said he would be back in an hour, I had to text him 3 hours later to see where he was. He came back shortly after that, dropped off the cement board and left. He said he would be back late morning the next day to get started. A late morning turned into late afternoon with no communication. I finally reached out and he came around 3:30. He decided to lay everything over the existing vinyl, when we had discussed removing the vinyl (he even figured in the cost for removal in my quote). I provided him with a $250 deposit on day one and have had no work done on the home. I have asked for copies of the receipt for the cement board and have received no response. .

Details: Kitchen • Entranceway • Floor • 51 - 100 sq ft • Porcelain • Yes, I already have the tiles

Excellent craftsmanship, excellent work quality, excellent and fair price for the work performed. The only thing that keeps me from giving 5 stars is the lack of punctuality, lack of communication, and inaccurate estimate of time to complete the work.

Details: Kitchen • Bathroom • Floor • Backsplash • 401 - 500 sq ft • No existing material (e.g., tile, carpet) needs to be removed • Concrete • Porcelain • No, but I will buy the tiles myself
