FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Standard pricing is incredibly difficult in custom construction because usually no two jobs are identical. It all comes down to the material cost and and time required to install which is often dictated by site conditions and location.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to arrange a time convenient for the client where we can spend 15-30 minutes reviewing the project site, scope of work, and the client's overall intent for the construction. If there are ways to save money or easily add-on to the project at minimal cost, I like to be able to convey that at the time so the client understand that there are options available. After reviewing the job, I typically have a signed proposal dropped off or emailed within a day or two. Once the proposal has been accepted, I work with the client to find the best day(s) and times to complete the job. A final walkthrough with the client ensures that they have the opportunity to ask questions and review the work before final payment is made.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
