FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Each job is priced according to design difficulty, files needed, amount of file formats needed, hours put into design, day design is needed (meaning is this a rush job). All Quotes/Estimates are for Files. Once paid you will receive all files requested and are yours to use freely. You ONLY receive the files you pay for. If you need and pay for a .JPG only and 3 months ask for a .PSD or .EPS you will be quoted for the cost of those files. Price may very based on any recreation that might be needed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First - I send a Questionnaire to fill out that has not only Design Questions, but also personal questions about the customer. For me, understanding the person is just as important if not more than the company. Each design should be able to represent the owners passion for his/her business/company. Second - I hand sketch 3 to 4 rough drafts of the design based on the questions answered by the client. And together we dissect those designs to build A direction and Moc up of the design. Third - after receiving the design deposit (normally $50 non-refundable) I Begin designing based on the sketches. All my designs unless otherwise mentioned, are quoted with 2 digital Proofs built in to the price. First Draft proof as well as a Revision Proof. After the final tweaks are made to the revision proof and Bill is paid in full, you will be sent the files requested from the questionnaire filled out at beginning. NOTE: any changes you would like after the fixed revision or additional files needed not mentioned in your paperwork will be quoted and billed as a new job.
