Mr. Frank showed up exactly on time and the work was professionally done and at a fair price. I know enough about the work being done to state that Mr. Frank was exceptionally professional and thorough. The work was done well beyond my expectation. He not only repaired a door that another company had tried to repair and failed, but he went out of his way to insure that the repair was up to my satisfaction. I highly recommend Rocket City Garage Service to anyone who wants prompt and professional repairs at a reasonable price.

Abbott was awesome!! Made time at the end of a long day to come fix my door. He worked quickly, was professional and friendly. He showed me the broken part and explained what broke and why, fixed it and even adjusted the door so it doesn't happen again. Oh and it has an 18 month guarantee.

Called about a G-door opener that was having intermittent problems in the close cycle. Abbott, the Tech on the call, was very knowledgeable in troubleshooting the problem - and not by replacing parts until he found a solution. Quickly found a wiring issue and corrected, then did a general diagnostic on the door. Geometry of the tracks was corrected, all fasteners were checked and tightened, spring tension corrected, and complete lubrication was performed. Job done with correct tools and efficient use of time. Good value for the service charge.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Get a through answer as to what they provide for your money. Many companies will only look at the problem you called about and ignore the rest of the door or doors. Look for a company like us, who stands by their work and takes the time to look at all aspects of garage doors.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Remember that your garage door is used more than any other door in your home. It is the biggest moving appliance in your home. What exactly are the symptoms? If it's an operator issue be sure to list the brand of operator and possibly the model. If the door won't open at all look to see if there is a gap in the spring showing that it is broken. Know the approximate size of your door. Look to see if the doors photo eyes are blocked if it goes up but won't come down. Is your operator chain, belt, screw driven? If you need a new door, think about quality not price. A cheaper product doesn't hold up in our field. You get what you pay for in garage doors. What is it you need long term for your home? Automation is more than just a button these days. Most people leave their homes unlocked through the garage. Security is paramount when it comes to your garage doors.
