About this pro

He is always prepared and on time. Michael is very knowledgeable and able to explain concepts in various ways. He understands, that as an adult, I may not always have the time to practice so he goes at a pace that works for me. Very professional.Apr 13, 2018Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My rate depends on whether the lesson is done person-person, or via the internet (Skype, FaceTime, etc.). I offer a discount package: if you purchase 4 lessons in advance, I will give you 5% off. You are not obliged to have lessons on a regular basis. Whatever works best for your schedule - whether you want weekly lessons or just a lesson once in a while - you will not be locked in and you only pay for the lessons you receive.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? The most important thing is getting to know the student musically and personally (artists/bands they like, what their practice habits are, etc.). This gives me an idea what they want to accomplish and how I can help them get there. There is no obligation to continue studying with me. This makes only sense if the student feels we are compatible with each other.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?2015- 2017: Master of Fine Arts in Jazz Drums, California Institute of the Arts (CalArts), Valencia, CA 2012 - 2014: 2-Year-Diploma, The Collective School of Music (Drummers Collective), New York, NY 2002 - Present: Playing live and in the studio
