Her cleaning service was well above our expectations, we were unsure at first only because of a prior cleaning service we used in THE past, therefore on the inital meet and greet and first time cleaning service I was beyond GRATEFUL and HAPPY with such amazing service and professionalism.

Disappointed. I asked for a move-in clean so I could put my things away as soon as I moved into my new place. Maybe my expectations were too high, but $100 for an empty 650 sq ft apmnt that supposedly had already been cleaned seemed like a fair price. I rated average because she did do some things and they looked good. She vacuumed the new rugs and cleaned 3 out of the 4 windows and cleaned the tub/shower. What I was disappointed about specifically were that the drawers, cabinets, shelves, above the fridge and even the bathroom sink all had either dust or dirt in/on them. So, I had to vacuum and wipe and now clean. I also gave her a 3 star rating because now that I have to clean them myself, I see that the cabinets were dirtier than I had thought at first. Having said that, since this is a cleaning service, it would have been great to get a call and discuss the issues and perhaps we could have agreed on a higher price for a 'deep clean.' Since she didn't call, I assume she thought I was trying to low-ball her. I was not. It honestly looked like an easy job to me. I would not use this service again.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got started cleaning when I realised it was second nature to me. As a child I actually made my own chore list and presented it to my father. Each chore had been priced and organized onto a convenient checklist. This was the start of my cleaning business.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Find someone you feel comfortable with. Bottom line. Communication is key.
