If there is one thing to spend money on for your wedding, it should be the photos. To capture the precious moment when two become one is priceless. Following our special day, I never could have imagined the possibility that we would not get what we had paid for. Eight years later my disappointment in our lack of a final product still resonated deeply in my heart. I mentioned our ever present disappointment to Debbie during a family photo shoot. Debbie’s immediate response was, “Let’s recapture it.” She delivered just that and then some. She was open to try all of my ideas, including four different settings and styles. Her photos expressed our personalities brilliantly and secured on film the way our love for each other had deepened and matured in eight years. Debbie slipped behind the camera to allow us to experience the each other in tender moments, never feeling awkward. Debbie uses her God given talent to bless people. Her attention to detail, light, and angles makes for a beautiful composition all around, not just photographing people, but the entire setting. She anticipates what the light will do, and moves the session along to secure the perfect lighting at the most opportune moments. I loved having our family photos done by Love and Honey. Usually I hate having my picture taken, but she did a great job of getting to know us and who we are and what we were looking for in pictures. She shared great ideas but let us decide what we were comfortable with. She also was very conscious of taking flattering pictures, and helping pose us so that she wasn't just snapping away while we stood there looking like bloated whales. She was very patient with our young "active" child and knew just what to do to get great pictures of him without forcing him to stay still for long periods of time. She did an excellent job all around and I would highly recommend her to anyone.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Please see my website for current pricing. My weddings start at $1,800 for 6 hours. My packages are listed on my web site, as well as my hourly rates for weddings. photographybyloveandhoney.com Family, senior, maternity and newborn sessions start at $250 per hour. Realty Photography pricing depends on travel time and project.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new customer, I like to get to know you a little before our session or wedding. It is easier to get beautiful images for you if you feel comfy with me. As a photographer I absolutely want to sit down with my wedding clients and go over their plans, dreams and hopes for their wedding photography. It is very important that I understand what you desire. When I am photographing families, seniors, newborns or business photography, I still like to get to know you a little before the session. That helps me to plan a session that you will love. This can be done through emails, facebook messages, meeting face to face, skyping, texting or phone calls. What ever you are comfortable with.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a photographer for over 8 years. I have trained online through learning courses, reading, researching, shooting, experimenting with different types of editing processes, and shooting with other professional photographers. I have worked hard to learn what looks good in a session. I have also taken classes and bought tools to learn my craft in photography and editing. Editing makes the image all it can be. There is just so much you can do after taking the actual picture to enhance the beauty of the moment.
