I hosted a birthday party for my grandmother and this DJ did not disappoint. They showed up an hour before hand to set-up. I requested a projector to show a video and he had everything set up and ready to go. They were fairly priced, and played old school clean music, just as I requested. My experience was great.

I had a wonderful experience with Fly Records Entertainment. They were courteous, professional, punctual and entertaining. I kno Mrs. Mitchell even got out on dance floor with us at one point and also video recorded our event. I know I'm leaving out some things bu I don' t want to write a book...if you're looking for someone to be on time and provide great enertainment, Fly Records Entertainment is the DJ to hire.

I got married on April 15, 2018 and our DJ was amazing. Very fun, professional and easy to work with. The only downfall to them and I wouldn’t even say it was a downfall but something to consider because I didn’t know this when I booked. They used CDs for music and not an iPod or mixer of some sort. And because of them using CDs there was some silence between songs there was no music until they changed the disc so kinda annoying. If they went to an iPod or something it would be fantastic.

Hey Rachael, Thanks for the review. It was a pleasure meeting you and your family/friends. We have a mixdeck, that we can play music from cd's, Ipods, flashdrives, & bluetooth. We played music from bluetooth & the pause was from downloading the variety of request that we were taking. We try to get the request on as soon as possible for the guest. We will update the data download limit's to provide the music faster for the guest. Thanks for the review & using Fly Records Entertainment for your wedfing needs. There was no wait on the music at the wedding because we already had the songs downloaded. At the reception we took the songs on the spot so it took a minute for the songs to download. I did a DIY wedding in Pensacola, Fl. My husband suggested using Thumbtack to find a DJ. I had never heard of it before, but I met Angie thru this app. I spoke to her a couple of times over the phone. She was responsive, enthusiastic, and professional. She was more then helpful with all my uncertainties and questions. She even made accommodations for a portable speaker to play music during my wedding ceremony on the beach. I provided a song list a couple days before the wedding and she never complained. They arrived on time and I think they played most of the songs on the list. I was too busy having fun so I couldn't remember. Lol....I would only change 2 things, #1. Our 1st dance song with my husband should have been in Spanish (but its not they're fault, I don't think I relayed that info). #2 I would have liked for the DJ to amp up the guests a little bit more. Although it was an outdoor party in a residential area, so not sure if that would've been appropriate. I was skeptical about hiring a DJ that I've never heard of before but all in all the music was great and I would definitely recommend this DJ husband and wife duo. Thanks. ☺

The price value for the company was right up my alley considering you spend enough money on weddings already. I give a 5/5 on price. I would have to say one HUGE downfall was messing my bridal party entrance names upon entry into the reception room. That was one thing I specified I wanted practically perfect and of all people it was the parents names that were messed up the most. 😖 As for the music quality it was 3/5 overall, I liked most of it, however not all my guests did. As for the DJ getting my party hyped up to want to dance, that was subpar. One thing I appreciated the most was that as soon as I contacted the company within about 1 day, somebody was contacting me back and for that I give a 4/5 one point marked off because I had to do the final contact 1 week before the wedding to make sure they understood everything that I wanted. Both Angie and Steve are very very nice people, just a couple of things they need to change to get a 5/5 rating. I truly appreciate them and their company for making my wedding complete.

Extremely fair pricing for the experience and value. Also it really depends on what the customers needs are. We have packages available to help fit with the customers needs. The base price is 100 per hour.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My education is from books, and other DJ's that I worked with early on. My experience is what seperates me from other DJ's. I have experience as a Radio DJ, Club DJ in the United States, and in Europe for crowds of hundreds. DJ for receptions, parties, reunions, clubs, radio station, and at military bases, where I was stationed at.
