About this pro
I wanted to surprise my wife with dance classes but didn't want to purchase it without seeing him in action so he agreed to have me come watch him teach one of his students. After seeing him, I was impressed so I purchased one class. Several weeks later, I presented the gift certificate to my wife and we had our first session. We were both impressed so I decided to purchase 20 more classes. The good thing about that was that he agreed to give me a discount if I prepay. in addition he has been patient, friendly and good with texting which I love. He is a good instructor and knows his stuff. We've had 3 lessons so far and going to our 4th one tonight. Give him a tryMar 2, 2018Verified
Artemi was awesome! He is extremely nice, very patient and a great teacher. He carefully listened to what we needed and put together a great routine under a very short deadline. Highly recommended.Sep 8, 2017Verified

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? When working with a new client, especially someone who hasn't danced before - I find it very important to build their confidence on the dance floor. Make sure they feel like whatever they set out to achieve is within their reach. That dance, like anything else in life requires regular practice in order for new information to sink in and become effective. Secondly it is very important to me that I meet my clients expectations. Constantly making sure that we are both on the same page about what we are setting out to do. Whatever the project is ahead of us: a wedding dance, next showcase or a competition... We both know the amount of commitment its going to take in order for us to achieve our goals. That way we both enjoy the journey and the destination.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I studied dance since the age of 14. First in Russia, Then Australia and then all over Europe as a Ballroom Dance Competitor. I also took classes in Ballet Contemporary and Modern in Sydney Dance Company. I still actively train as a dancer. I feel that education never stops. There is always something new and exiting to see just around the corner. My best teachers however are my students. No one challenges me more. It is one thing to be able to do something well, but its very different to show and explain it in easy way to some one else....
