FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes we can give a schedule of fees for certain items, but it would always depend on the job and travel time, materials, etc, however because each of our crew members is a highly trained and dedicated member of our company - we estimate a simple $55 per man hour - to determine what we need to charge in order to provide our clients with the best overall service and experience. We are not a "Handyman" company - we are not a couple of guys in a pick up truck, who just rolled out of the bar last night and are just looking to make a few bucks...when they have to. We are the best at what we do, we have a 10 year plus track record of outstanding performance and never failed to complete a job. We understand that if we decide to take on your project, no matter how small it may be to us, we understand that its still the most important job ever = for YOU! So when we estimate your work - whether its a roofing repair, or deck cleaning - it really doesn't matter - a good trained person, will cost me $20 an hour, not including overhead, etc, and of course insurance where 1/3 of all your money and mine will go, because we have commercial insurance coverage which will cover your property, up to 2 million in General Liability coverage. So when you add it all up and then account for my profit as a company - then we really cannot charge a penny less than $55 per man hour. If your paying less than that - then someone is not trained enough - or they don't have the licenses or insurance and they can charge less, but you will get what you pay for. So if you want the job done right, and done once, and you want someone that really knows what they are doing - then give us a call. We manage millions of sqft of property for various agencies and property management companies, and we can find and fix things that others - just can't. Also remember that we have over quarter million in specialized tools and equipment and a 2,000 sqft warehouse in the middle of Virginia Beach - so when you can bring to bear the best equipment that money can buy - (like our pressure washer for instance) and the best people, then you should understand that we could charge a lot more for our services, but we prefer to have a steady stream of clients - vs having to "sell" to each one, so we use a simple and effective pricing and estimating schedule so that we can make enough to pay our bills, our people and then a little left over for myself and my family.
