Absolutely ridiculous to deal withNov 30, 2017
I want to start by saying that the workers that actually came to our home and performed the job were great. They would reach out to us if they needed information and would give us a call if they were going to be later than originally scheduled (and would stay late those days if we were okay with it). We couldn't be happier with the work from the two of them. (I wish they would have remembers to cut off our water hose each day, but all-in-all, they did a good job). The work they did is beautiful, and their support in helping with some of the design was beneficial (e.g. they pointed out the floor tile for the shower didn't fit the design of the room, and even picked up a few samples to help us complete the look). Our problem came mainly with our Project Manager, Steve, and were mainly due to his lack of organization in managing the project and communicating with us before & during the renovation. 1 - We had little contact with Steve before the project started, or during. He was hardly ever accessible via phone, and email responses were delayed. If we called the office, they would say they'd have him call us, and we wouldn't hear from him. 2 - No support or guidance in selecting products. Perhaps if there had been support in this step, we wouldn't have had to rely on the on-site team pointing out that the floor tile for the shower didn't go with the rest of the selected products. 3 - After we selected the items on our own and provided a detailed list 2 weeks before the project was scheduled to start, we received no response. 3 follow-up calls later we finally got a hold of him to confirm he received the email and the project would start on time (that was 3 days before the scheduled start date, and only after I called to follow up while my family & I were on vacation) 4 - None of the products were ordered before the project started, so each step in the process was delayed due to the on-site team having to go buy the products the day they were going to work on that part of the bathroom. 5 - After several requests and questions on why the painting had not been done, we were advised it would be done after everything was installed - this means there are places that could not be painted and remain visible because they are in tight places & out of reach of the equipment. We were assured this would not be the case, but unfortunately, the painters were unable to reach the area due to the tight space. 6 - Shower Doors were included on the list of items selected, and required special ordering. They were not ordered until 3 days before the project was (re)scheduled to be finished, and required a week for delivery. When they finally came in, they had to be installed on a Saturday to allow the painter to show on Monday. 7 - The painter was scheduled for Monday at 8am. However, at 9am on Monday an email was sent advising they couldn't come and would be there Tuesday at 8am instead. There was no phone call, and the email was not seen until nearly 11am. 8 - Our project manager asked to confirm the paint selection on the Thursday before painter was to come, but when the painter arrived, they had not been told what paint was needed and then had to go back out to buy the paint. Today, the project is completed - and I'm still waiting for an itemized bill so that I can pay for the renovation. The project managers lack of oversight on this makes me wonder what the final bill is going to look like and how much I'm going to have to fight. I'd recommend the company - just not this particular project manager.Sep 28, 2016Verified

Great company! We had hardwood floors refinished and carpet put in 2 bedrooms. The HW quote was a bit higher than other places, but I was told these guys are the best and they were able to fit us in last minute, so it was worth it! We are extremely happy with all of our floors.Nov 13, 2016Verified
Horrible experience working with this company. Scheduled an estimate and the day of received a confirmation email and 2 phone calls, but the guy never showed. No phone call, nothing. Had to contact them the next and they sent someone out. He was very dismissive and seemed annoyed by my questions. I specifically asked if they worked on Saturdays and his response was simply "yes". Come to find out later that Saturday's they charge overtime, which increased the price a lot. He never mentioned this. Maybe my project seemed to small and beneith them (just a small living room).Nov 3, 2016Verified
