The definition of Access control is the selective restriction of access to a place or resource. Permission to access a resource or for one instance a room is controlled by the main brain or the software of a system. This brain of an access control system tells a certain door basically who is allowed in and who isn't. But not only that, the system can also be programmed to let certain persons to only gain entry at certain times of the day. The access control system can also let you know who is going where and when by keeping a log of each persons whereabouts. It also protects employees, clients, and others within the building by restricting access to any unauthorized individuals and locking down a building during an emergency. Our Intrusion Detection Solutions or alarm systems, allow our customers to detect a physical threat. This is accomplished by setting up zones or detectors to monitor an area.
