About this pro
Excellent job. Skip had reasonable prices and was very thorough. We were very impressed with him and his finsihed product. We had realtors assessing our home value and they thought the work was done so well that they even asked for his card!Mar 1, 2018Verified
Skip was always very professional, timely and very tidy. We have used him several times for interior and exterior painting. We would leave the house and simply have him lock up when he finished for the day. His prices were very reasonable and we would recommend him to others,,,,in fact we did recommend to a relative and a close friend and they were both very pleased with his work.Feb 28, 2018

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I do not price jobs without doing a walk through of the project, listening to the customers desires and providing informed feed back on all prep work to be completed and why it is necessary and how it will affect the finished product.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like meeting my customers first. Price isn't always the most important factor when looking a project over, it how you feel about who you are allowing in your home, will the contractor do what they say they will do, and do you feel good about the person you are considering hiring. Do they agree with your budget and ideas just to win the contract and in the end, you wish you had gone with someone else instead. I like to inform my customers of what they can expect from me, my prep work and finished product. Many things factor into job pricing, but how you feel should about the contractor should be first priority and if they can't explain how and why a job is priced the way it is, then be careful.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?On the job training, self learning and just plain hard work. I have been trained in Lead Based paint removal, but do not perform this type of work due to the high demands, time involved and added cost to the contractor which prices this type of work out of reach for most customers.
