Gilgen Handyman Service is a quality service. I had a new deck built for the front porch of my 115 year old farm house. We had a little trouble scheduling the start, due to his busy schedule, however I am so pleased that I waited as the final product was very high quality. The final cost was slightly higher than the estimate because once the old surface was removed there was more rot in the substructure than we originally thought. I have no doubt that the final structure will last 100 plus years and it looks beautiful! Mike was a pleasure to work with and I will definitely be using his company again & again.

Mike Gilgen Handyman and Construction With Gilgen Handyman and Construction you are guaranteed to meet a down-to-earth and likable contractor. He listened to my needs and wants while mapping out the design..The following day, after the initial meeting, I was provided with an estimate of the project cost and a start date. On the start date, the crew arrived on time, were friendly and got right to work. When I asked Mike ,(Gilgen Handyman and Construction), about the time duration he estimated three days which was hard to believe. However, by the end of the third day my backyard had been transformed. It went from needing a lot of work to a backyard oasis.The design was enormous, beautiful and well crafted. The sections of concrete that were poured were thick and precise.I am extremely satisfied with the crews workmanship , effort and expertise. This home project was significant in size requiring 36 yards of cement.The crew began with 5 workers for demolition, removal and form setting. On the third day well over ten more workers arrived.Within a few hours my backyard had been transformed. I am thrilled and amazed with the completed project. Can't want until the next project with Gilgen Handyman and Construction. I definitely will refer others to this contractor.

Wow, I am beyond impressed with Mike and Mitch! Great people, outstanding skills. I put them through the wringer today and every project, new lights, tv mounting, ceiling fan, hanging mirrors, shelves and lights, cutting into stucco on the house to put in a doggie door all done to perfection. Gonna start saving my $$ to have them put in a new patio for me. So glad I found you two!

We hired Mike Gilgen to install a new garbage disposal. Mike was great in the lead-up communications. He arrived on-time. Mike thoughtfully addressed an issue when we realized the new disposal was larger and would not exactly fit due to it butting up to the cabinet wall. He offered solutions and got it installed. Mike made sure to protect the area he was working by laying down a movers blanket and did a complete clean up at the conclusion of the job. He is very professional and knowledgeable. I will definitely seek out Mike when I have other jobs around the house.

I like to meet with all new potential customers, in order to make sure that we are a good fit for each other. When we determine that we will work well together, we can discuss an hourly rate as well as quote a bid price for specific jobs.
