Our movers did a great job... especially the second half of the move...adding stair and increasing temps. Thanks so much.Aug 6, 2018VerifiedFarrukh S.'s reply
Thanks Jenna. Appreciate you taking time to comment, Enjoy the new home. Roy
I had three pieces of furniture damaged by the movers. One was a very expensive dining table that was left with several deep gouges - one being approx. 6 inches. One damaged piece I caught right away and the mover "repaired" it that day. The other pieces I didn't discover until the next day when we started moving stuff out of the way. I immediately called to report this to the owner. He seemed responsive. I then got two halfhearted phone calls back from the lead mover as an attempt to fix the problem. It has been almost 4 weeks and nothing has been done. I paid in cash and generously tipped the movers. I have no other recourse than to leave a negative review.Mar 27, 2018VerifiedFarrukh S.'s reply
I apologize, I immediately assigned the lead mover to follow up with your concerns. The first time I am hearing it was not taken care of is today by reading the reviews that were posted. If you feel the movers do not deserve the tips you gave, I will have the guys return the tips to you. Send the amount of the tips to either my email or phone and I will send you a check. My goal is for every move to go without any issues. Unfortunately, occasionally things go awry. I have dealt with the lead mover accordingly.
The movers did a decent job, but Roy did not size the move correctly. I'd told him that I needed to move the contents of a 2-bdrm apartment plus a 10x25 storage unit (equating to a 4-bdrm house & 200 boxes) to my new house. He sent a truck so small they had to make 2 trips & still didn't move everything! They left items too large for me to move in my car, so I’ll have to rent a truck to get the rest! Knowing the move was gonna cost me more due to needing to do 2 trips I opted to put together my own furniture. However, they didn't even hook up my refrigerator nor my washer & dryer! I’d told him on the phone that I had those items & he never said they wouldn’t hook them up. When it was all done I didn't have enough cash to cover the bill (since it was 38% higher than expected) & he had the nerve to charge me an additional 5% for using a credit card! I've moved 4 times in the last 20 years & this was the worst move I've ever experienced! I would've done better getting a U-Haul & hiring the guys outside Home Depot!Feb 13, 2017VerifiedFarrukh S.'s reply
Tonya: I am sorry your experience did not go as smoothly as you would prefer. We strive hard to make the moving experience go well, but sometimes things do not always go as expected. Roy
I've never had movers before and I didn't really know what to expect but this was a bad experience overall. My incorrectly three hour estimate move time turned into eight hours and +$800. Just felt like I still had tons of work to do the next day because they couldn't fit everything in the truck properly. They wanted to leave my big items behind which I had asked them to put those in the truck first and then everything else in but they wanted to do it last. I offered food to motivate them to finish the job the correct way. I am going through a big transition in my life as a single mom and I shouldn't have to beg guys to do their job. I understand they were beat from the prior days work of 15 hours they told me but still am a paying customer. Just wanted to have a smooth move. Had a few dings in my stuff tooFeb 10, 2017VerifiedFarrukh S.'s reply

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? Our standard rate is $95 an hour for Two fully trained movers and a 24 or 26 foot box moving truck. Most of our trucks have lift gates to make moving heavy items easier and more efficient. If customers just want to hire the movers only, and do not require the moving truck, the rate is $80 per hour for two movers. We can provide partial or full packing service upon request. Three movers and moving truck is 125 dollars an hour. Four movers and moving truck is 145 dollars an hour. We can add more movers and trucks if need for larger jobs.
