- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have researched price list based on average cost comparison analysis across Texas, I than averaged the prices. I deducted 10% across the list. On clear coat I deducted 25% from the nationwide average of 50% to come up with my 35% charge.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every customer is as important as the next. I am very compassionate to my customers needs/requirments. However, this is a business and inventory is very expensive. So in consulting individual needs, I listen, repeat so we are assured of understanding, I offer my resources in color guidance as in RAL COLORS (as an example). This meets the customers desires, follows American Architectural Manufacturers Association (AAMA) 2603-02 standards. And, I advice on temperature considerations, UAV friendly powders. As well I attempt to offer a zinc rich chromate epoxy primer, and clear coating for added protection and longer life expectancy in the looks and durability of all powders.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My experience stems for 16 yrs of aviation maintenance that required structural preparation for repairs or replacement. Solvents, strippers, sanding, primer prepping ect. Makers Mark training via VA and GE technical training for veterans. 9 months internship for experience, 1+ year owner/operator in current business.
