- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My wedding collections start at $2000, and my portraits start at $300. I’ve spent many years cultivating my skill set so that I can confidently deliver images that are consistent and of a higher quality.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Ideally I prefer to meet over coffee, or even through Skype, to make sure both my client and myself feel that I'm a good fit. I require a retainer fee and signed contract for both weddings and portrait sessions to reserve the date. For weddings, I also prefer another face to face meeting to fine tune the details before the big day if possible. I usually encourage engagement sessions as they help both the client and myself become more comfortable with eachother so that the wedding day has a more comfortable and natural relationship between the photographer and couple.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I primarily self taught myself photography, with the exception of a studio portrait class that I took. Most of my hands on experience was gained while living abroad where I shot wedding photography full time.
