She has been the best wedding planner a bride could ever have. She is so detailed and and accomodating to what we need. She is basically part of the family now! Everyone loved how she coordinated our wedding day and has been a dream! I would recommend her to every bride!!

Debra is the bomb.com!! She decorated for my baby shower and went above and beyond my expectations ! She followed through with everything that she said she would do and then some !! She was awesome! Gave us all the help we needed while allowing us to have control of our vision and we had a timeline so thorough that we started on time (which most weddings I've been to have not)! She definitely helped to eliminate some stress and was very personable and supportive. Highly recommend!

I plan events for college students for a living, and I was certain I could handle my own wedding. I was so wrong, and hiring Debra was the best wedding planning decision my husband and I made. Debra was a breeze to work with--especially with her quick communication. She readily picked up from the point up to where I had planned and seamlessly took the ropes from there, and I am SO GLAD she did. Debra had a first consult with my husband and I a few months before the wedding, so we could get on the same page. From there, we worked virtually through a shared checklist answering questions I wouldn't have even known to ask! Debra was so patient with my husband and me as we navigated not only wedding planning, but also moving and a surprise knee surgery. Debra even came to our new house with a housewarming gift for our final in-person meeting before the big day! Debra's thoughtfulness continued throughout rehearsal as well as the day-of. Rather than having to worry about who needed to be where and when, Debra had it all on lock. As the bride, I could sit back, enjoy the company of my bridesmaids, and take in the excitement of the day. One of my favorite skills of Debra is her communication with our vendor team. It was such a relief to have a single point of contact for all the vendors as well as a single person asking questions to me. Debra even when above and beyond in helping us cater to ADA accommodations of our family member with mobility impairments: ensuring close seating, bringing food to minimize walking, and providing individualized check-ins with family members who needed it. While the actual day was a total blur, it turned out better than I ever could have dreamed thanks to Debra's diligence, patience, precision, and good humor. I honestly cannot recommend Debra highly enough as a necessary addition to your wedding day team!

Debra’s Details & Designs charges for the total suite of services provided per engagement and does not charge by the hour. You can learn more about our packages and pricing in the website.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
One of Debra’s favorite things is consulting with people about their upcoming events and designing ways to transform a vision to reality. After the 30-minute initial consultation and contract signature with deposit takes place, your event date is locked in. Visit the website to schedule your consultation.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Debra’s Details & Designs was founded by Debra Quintyne. She is a certified wedding planner by both The Bridal Society and Association of Bridal Consultants. She is also a George Washington University Certified Event Planner. Prior to creating Debra’s Details & Designs, she obtained a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Sociology from Smith College and is a certified project management professional.
