Introduction: I provide personal, tailored music coaching, based on student goals, in the areas of piano, keyboards, vocal training, music theory and songwriting. I do this for students of all ages who are prepared to work with home support. I have a B.A. in music and a lifetime of experience in writing and performing.
My reward is in participating in a teaching/learning dynamic where the student and I are partners in the creative process. I enjoy watching students progress as an expression of personal fulfillment.

Mr. Ferrians not only knows music, he feels music. Music is a part of his soul. I have watched him take beginners and make them sound like they have been singing for years. I have also watched him teach experienced musicians how to fine tune their craft. Mike is an excellent teacher for all ages. With his professioanlism, enthusiasm, and knowledge of music he is by far one of the best music teachers in the area.
