FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
If the working conditions are ideal, I'm happy to give a flat rate bid for the job. This means that the workspace will be free of obstructions, and not shared with other workers. If there are factors that may extend the duration of the project and are difficult to calculate beforehand, then an hourly rate with an estimate may apply.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to settle all questions and get all necessary information via phone/email so that our first meeting can be day 1 of producing the job (multi day projects excluded). Having to travel to clients' homes just to deliver an estimate means increased costs for me and the client as well as consuming more time. I value my time, I respect your time, and I'm confident that we can reach an agreement prior to a face-to-face meeting.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've trained with my father who worked his whole life as a handyman. I've completed my B.A. degree which trained me in clear and effective communication.
