FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge less for students who come to me. I have a strong preference that students come to me because yin yoga requires a lot of stuff, such as bolsters, blocks, straps and mats. I'm also able to play music in my studio to make the sessions much more powerful. As a result, I charge more for sessions held elsewhere because I have to move a lot of stuff to bring it with me. Sessions are typically 90 minutes but are priced at less than most people charge for 60 minutes. The reason is that I want to be able to give my students the full benefit of yin (which takes more than an hour) without the cost being an issue.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
As a boutique practice, I love that I can put the needs of individual clients first, providing them the opportunity to access and explore yoga in a way they could never get at a studio or a gym. The first thing I do is sit with the client and listen, to all they have to say about what they seek. I then tailor a plan to fit my client's needs just right, whether it is simply yoga or some combination of yoga, meditation, and tantric breathing.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) with Yoga Alliance. I trained in Bali with some of the most famous teachers in yin yoga. In addition, I have completed a separate, three-month training in tantra.
