WOW! All I can say is that Ebeth is an amazingly wise woman. Not only does she have the academic and scientific background but she brings a sense of personal investigation that really makes you feel comfortable and safe. She has inspired me beyond measure to change my dietary habits and to change the way I view food. I am a single mother of two teenage girls. Having this new information has already and will continue to change our family's nutritional habits for generations to come! Ebeth is a very generous person who will guide you toward your truest and healthiest self. I am very grateful for the experience and really motivated to learn more about plant-based diets. If you have any desire to change your life from the inside out, I fully recommend you work with Ebeth. ~jylani ma'at

I worked closely with Ebeth Johnson for a few years. I watched her research thoroughly a wide range of nutrition topics, consult with her individual clients and prepare various dishes for nutrition classes she conducted at Whole Foods Market on a weekly basis. Ebeth’s positive and optimistic spirit is infectious. Her enthusiasm for health and healthy food will get you interested and motivated to choose a lifestyle and diet that will make you feel 100% better. Ebeth is a good listener; she will analyze your personal needs and assess your goals before guiding you through a plan that is tailored just for you. She is also a great chef and mentor who will help and support you while you set up your own pantry and meal plan.

I started attending WholeFood’s Market’s ‘Health Starts Here’ classes in New York City and enjoyed every class. I feel as though I've acquired a wealth of knowledge for my own quality of life from the classes she facilitated. She has truly cultivated a warm and welcoming community that I haven’t seen by anyone else. Ebeth is a true food educator. I find her teaching style to be personable, dynamic and engaging. Her approach was very relaxed but with an enthusiasm for food and cooking that is contagious. As a friendly and approachable teacher, she made asking questions in class easy and non-intimidating. She even encouraged students to ask questions and comment on the food samples. Always prepared, the class atmosphere was orderly, light, interactive, comfortable and inspirational. Her demeanor is always diplomatic and respectful. I appreciate her ability to politely and intelligently respond to the difficult and challenging individuals who attended from time to time – she handles the public well! There was no question that I can recall that Ebeth couldn't answer - I was confident that her experience, knowledge of food and healthy cooking was extensive and more than adequate to teach any individual, group or community about healthy eating. I enjoyed every recipe Ebeth prepared. I left every class amazed at the intense flavor of the dishes she prepared that were made with all natural ingredients. In summation, I found Ebeth to be a valued asset and true catalyst for healthy eating.

Ebeth provides simple ways to eat healthy, while taking into consideration busy schedules and varying dietary needs. I appreciate her advocacy for breastfeeding as well as shedding light on the vegan lifestyle. Her videos provide advice, information, and the support that I need.

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

My first introduction to a potential client is often a complimentary 20 minute Clarity Consultation. During our conversation I strive to gain a deeper understanding of the client's needs and goals. Based on what I learn I share with them what type of service I think will best serve them. Services range from a one-time session to a multi-session package. For some clients-- a cooking lesson and /or shopping tour is included in the package. After we've agreed on how to work together we schedule our time together and they receive a pre-session survey to complete prior to our time together. Based on the responses to their questionnaire I prepare for a personalized, deep dive conversation during which I address the questions, concerns and goals they shared with me. After our conversation, clients receive a recording of our call for future reference as well as a typed recap that may include: Nutrition Prescriptions Clear Goals Manifestation Strategies Product Recommendations Motivational Mantras Recipes
