FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing depends entirely on the scope of the project. I usually charge a flat fee per hour of shooting, a flat fee for editing/delivery, a fee for licensed music per song needed (usually runs around $50 per song), and if delivery of any raw files is desired I will charge for storage (those hard drives aren't cheap!!!)
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I'm all about communication. My job is to effectively and accurately convey your message and thus I need to work closely with you to get a sense for the project scope. The first questions usually relate to logistics, goals of the project, feelings you want to convey, how important sound is, what types of shots you have in mind, time shooting, length of final video, etc.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked on music videos, music events for SOFAR Sounds DC, weddings, and corporate promotions videos (mostly gyms or athletic ventures thus far)
