Military friendly, you will not be disappointed! My first interaction with Ed was when he inspected my home during my home sale. I was obviously nervous about the outcome and as an owner, I knew what would most likely be of concern. I was impressed with his professionalism and attention to detail. His report was thorough and outlined my home’s problem areas, in addition to identifying additional issues which I was able to rectify. The inspection was obviously beneficial to my buyer but also benefitial to me because it allowed for very amicable negotiations. Due to his quality of work, I decided to hire him for a property that I was purchasing. The inspection was thorough and he identified a major structural issue with the property which saved me a lot of money and headaches in the long term! He is affordable and I really appreciated his military discount. Ed comes from a military family and extended the curtesy which I can’t thank him enough for as I needed his expertise for two properties. This is your guy, thank you Ed!

We recently hired Ed to do the inspection for the purchase of our first home, and couldn't be happier with the value that he brought to the sale. Upon completing the inspection, we found that the roof needed to be replaced on our garage, and that there were major electrical repairs that needed to be completed. In total, we were able to get back $15,000.00 at closing to cover the repairs needed and we wouldn't have known this without going with an experienced and reliable Inspector like Ed. Not only did he show superb professionalism and honesty, I also received the Inspection Report earlier than anticipated. I recommend Heartland Inspections to anyone considering in purchasing a home.

Being both a realtor and real estate investor, I come across a lot of home inspectors. When I met Ed at the first inspection that he ever did for me almost two years ago, I instantly knew that I would never need another home inspector again. Instead of scaring the client, he calmly tells them the issue and how to prevent it from happening again. If there is a major issue, he has a ton of contractors/connections on hand to refer you to. He genuinely cares about his clients and is EXTREMELY thorough with his inspections. You can expect your report back within 24 hours most of the time which is a huge plus as some other inspectors can take much longer. I personally use Ed for my own properties, too, because I don't trust anyone else but him to look at them for me. I know that Ed will keep my/his clients best interest in mind above anything else. All in all, if youre looking for the best inspector in NJ, look no further and give Heartland Home Inspections a call!!!

As a first-time home buyer, my experience with Ed at Heartland Home Inspections was refreshingly easy. From the scheduling, to the inspection and follow up report, the entire process was timely, professional, and extremely thorough. I would recommend their services to everyone buying a home.
