FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do hourly work at the rate of $45/hr. I also do pricing based on the job and not at an hourly rate. As far as payment goes, if the job is under $1000 payment is required the day of the job or upfront in most cases. If it is a one day job, payment will be required either upfront or at the end. For longer or larger jobs, multiple payments are accepted with half upfront and the remainder at the end typically. Other arrangements can be made upon customer request.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get as much information as possible prior to giving an estimate so that it is as accurate as possible and there are no surprises. Speaking with or meeting with the customer prior to start of work may be preferred. Email and text are often used. Payment information will also be agreed upon prior to the start of work. I do accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards. All checks must be from a local bank. Written estimates and receipts are typical or given upon request. Communication is important to me.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with residential, commercial, and business customers. I have experience with every age group and customers of all backgrounds.
