FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For music tracks, the pricing is very fluid, depending on the need of the client. For engineering work, my standard rate is $50.00/hr (US) If the work is local, my clients do not pay for my travel time. None of my clients pay for my setup time or my strike time. They only pay for the times when I'm tracking, sound designing, editing, mixing, and mastering.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I first like to get a sense of what the client is going to be working on, so that I can determine if I am the best person for the project. Often, that is the case, but other times there may be someone more suited to their specific project. The most important thing is to make sure that the client is going to have someone working on their project whose passion and skill set best fit the end goal. From there, I like to define what the terms will be (payment, time frame, deliverables, etc...) After the work is done I like to follow up with my clients to make sure that they are satisfied with my work. If not, I offer services to alter the end product until it's what they are looking for.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Recording Arts that I earned from Full Sail University in Winter Park, FL. While there, I received the perfect attendance award, was the Valedictorian of my class, and received 8 course director awards. On top of that, I have experience working in the AV industry and have had multiple musical releases that have been played around the world by the likes of Paul Oakenfold and Ruben de Ronde.
