Introduction: Providing high quality traditional Eastern Usui Reiki Healing in a warm, safe environment. I am fully insured and a member of the International Association of Reiki Professionals and of the Shibumi International Reiki Association. I also observe all Covid safety precautions recommended by the state and offer Reiki in a sanitized environment. Online Reiki infused meditation services and online training are also offered. I love seeing the improved condition of my clients after a Reiki session, whether in-person or online.

I sought Reiki as an alternative for treating my ongoing anxiety and depression when nothing else seemed to work. Crystal Reiki was recommended to me by my therapist as a potential tool in treating my depression. Her advice was simply I have no idea how you will respond, but I promise you will not regret it. For a long time, I noticed a tension in the center of my body that I could only describe as a feeling of negative energy. Having heard a little about the benefits of Reiki for a host of mental health issues, including PTSD, I thought I would give it a shot. I am so happy I did!During my first session, I was a bit restless not knowing what to expect. Please know that Reiki is in no way intrusive or uncomfortable. It is gentle and calming. Deborah quickly made me feel at ease and I was able to relax. During that first session, I could literally feel energy moving through and out of my body. A slight shed of tears during my session gave way to a calm and release of all the tension I had been holding for so long. The evening after my first Reiki session, I suffered from an episode of overwhelming sadness. However, when I woke the following day, it was as if something shifted and all of that energy dissipated. Reiki has helped me in so many ways. Overall, I am more accepting and compassionate with myself. I have gone over a month without feeling depressed or having intrusive thoughts. I am more able to focus in work and at school and generally enjoy life. My son also reaps the benefits, as I am calm and focused and more fully able to enjoy the time we spend together. Following my second session, the tension I felt in my body is no longer present at all and I can finally see the light. I was so much more comfortable going into that session knowing Deborah and what to expect. I cannot say enough about Deborahs support and kindness. There truly is no pressure in these sessions. The best advice I can give is just to try it and simply think of it as meditation or an hour for yourself to be open and relax.I cannot thank Deborah enough for introducing me to this wonderful practice! It has truly changed my life!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer a three session package rate. There are occasional seasonal discounts, and one-hour gift certificates are available. I will offer a sliding scale for many different reasons so just ask.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
There will be a brief telephone conversation to pre-screen new customers. When you arrive for your session, you will be asked to complete a simple consent and information form, followed by a short introductory greeting where you may share any concerns you would like addressed during our session and I will offer some information about Reiki. The in-person session is done on a massage table, fully clothed, with gentle hands-on and/or hands-off application of Reiki followed by a brief follow up after the table session is complete. Online sessions follow the same beginning and include a personalized Reiki-infused meditation. I am available for follow up questions and remarks via email.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have received my Reiki Master and Teacher Certification from Libby Barnett, MSW, RMT, and Level Three Usui Reiki Ryoho training from Frans Stiene, founder of the International House of Reiki. I am a Certified Dementia Practitioner as well as certified in Crystal Healing and Dowsing and a trained Space and Land Clearing practitioner, A Certified Shamanic Practitioner and Sacred Childbirth with Reiki certified. Level One Animal Reiki trained. Offering a wide expanse of experience and expertise to clients.
