We bought a puppy from Joe and he has been very accommodating and helpful with her. We are also now training her with him and she is doing amazingly well do te his knowledge of dogs and skills in training them. He has also been very professional with our meetings. From basic obedience to protective dog training he does it all. We ate doing protective work with her and she is progressing really well. I would recommend Joe to all my friends and family.

T&J’s K9 Academy has been great to us. We were lucky enough to be the new home for our wonderful dog Tito. Tito’s previous owners couldn’t keep him and needed help finding him a new home. It turned out to be a perfect fit for us. We took Tito in and he immediately became best friends with our other dog. We had a few issues with Tito listening to certain commands from us. Joe at T&J’s K9 academy was more than helpful with some extra training. He explained that it’s a completely new environment for him and that it would take a little work to teach him. He helped us the entire way giving us tips to help us train him. We love Tito and couldn’t be happier with how things turned out!

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

For a 1 hour session I usually go to the clients house, go over what has been going on as I get to know the dog and then train and explain as I go. That way when I’m gone you can keep up with the training.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started out working at a Protection dog company and then my passion for dogs grew from there.

  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I just recently finished training a puppy from a litter my female dog had about 5 months ago.
