Introduction: Nothing is more satisfying than hearing yourself playing a song that moves and inspires you! With almost 20 years of playing music, I now pass on that knowledge to my students of all ages. Helping people learn music is both an amazing and invaluable experience for me. We will not only go over how to play guitar but also music theory and how to write your own songs! Whether it be a particular playing style, songwriting, soloing, a preferred genre or just to have fun playing your favorite songs, I cover it! I am only offering virtual guitar lessons however I do also offer additional services like Coaching or Weekly Check-In that can be read about on my website!

Phenomenal teacher. Dan provides exceptional explanation, guidance, and knowledge of the guitar, while also a blast to hang with and learn from for an hour. Huge improvements within just the first three lessons. Always prompt and great lesson follow-up instructions. I travel but don’t have to miss any lessons with Dan’s online setup. Highly recommend!

I am a retired middle/high school teacher and am currently taking guitar lessons from Dan; however I do pink around the piano so maybe that'll be next for me as I see Dan also teaches piano. Yay! Dan has alot of qualities that are helping me to really ENJOY and have FUN playing my guitar. He's always open for my questions and "wants." If there's a song I want to learn but I think it might be too difficult for me, he gladly takes the time to arrange it so that I can learn it. Dan is very positive, upbeat, calm, and patient. All qualities of an AMAZING teacher! Thank you Dan!

I retired a few years ago and was looking for a new hobby and decided on learning to play the guitar. Daniel responded quickly to my request for information and I decided to take my first lesson with him. My first lesson was very informative and very comfortable as Daniel is very patient with new students. Daniel is a very talented musician and has the ability to work with those who have never picked or plucked a string before - like me. He makes playing the guitar fun and his teaching method is easy to understand especially when you're the proverbial "old dog" trying to learn a new trick. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For Coaching lessons, where you send me a short video and I send a video response back, I charge $10 per request. For regular Weekly Lesson students I charge $35 for each 30 minute lesson. For Pay Per Lesson students I charge $40 for each 30 minute lesson. There are no other fees!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Working with a new student is always going to vary from student to student. My first goal is to answer any initial questions they have and to just make them comfortable! Following that, we talk about their skill level and goals when it comes to playing music and then we start learning!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been playing music, primarily guitar, for close to 20 years now. I continue to study music, practice playing instruments, and write in my daily life because of my love for music! This helps me provide the best lessons that I can for my students!
