It was a pleasure working with Nikki. I needed a lot of flexibility for a special, candid proposal and she exceeded my expectations. I felt like she had everything to do with the photos under control, so it was one less thing I had to worry about. She's quick to respond, friendly, and the pictures turned out great!Aug 10, 2017VerifiedNikki W.'s reply
Thank you so much, Travis!!! It was truly a blessing and honor to be a part of your special moment!!!! Best wishes to you both!!!!!

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I don’t do packages. When I first started out, I debated this system in my mind and wondered if I should create pricing in this format simply because everyone does it that way. But, I never liked the idea of nickel and diming families per hour (or per image). That may come off as insensitive, but think about it this way… The work and product I offer is obtained through a process that really can’t be altered. It requires a set (minimum) amount of time, certain lenses, a hefty investment in personal time spent getting to know you and your family, and an extensive post production process where I agonize over things you probably don’t care to ever know about. If I took away any part of this, you wouldn’t be getting the best value for your money, and I wouldn’t be creating the best images for you. With that said, photography has become a true passion of mine and I don't do this out of a need for income but out of a desire to create something a family can cherish. I want to remain affordable to everyone so while my prices may be low (in comparison to fellow photographers) I do that out of a love of the process and hope it is not misconstrued as a reflection of my ability.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Conversation. This could be from a potential client reaching out to us through our “Let’s Meet” page, a referral from a previous client, or a face to face meeting with someone looking for a photographer. The conversation usually leads to me figuring out a high level overview of what the potential client is looking for and determining if it’s something I: A) offer and/or B) are available for and/ or C) want to take on.
