Introduction: With 5 years of experience as personal trainer, I know what it's like as an individual to overcome adversity. I started my fitness journey at 235 lbs and since then have been able to accomplish losing over 80 pounds with intended plans of stepping on stage in the bodybuilding world to compete in women's physique. Since starting I fell in love with the process and set out with a purpose to teach individuals that it's not just a diet or quick change it is a process, mindset, and lifestyle change change that helps to develop you into a better individual in different aspects of life not just the gym. It has been great working with Karlyn, I would recommend her to everyone I know. She has been amazing to work with. She’s very involved and you truly get the 1:1 training experience with her. If you are someone coming off an injury I would highly suggest working with her as well! I wish I would have worked with her earlier coming off my injury. My knee has been feeling better than ever and I can already tell how much stronger I feel in such a short amount of time!

Karlyn is awesome! As a novice to strength training, she took her time with me to learn the foundation and correct formation. She’s also very easy going, kind and motivational! Most recently, I re-injured my back and hip outside of working out. In the past, I’d have to see my doctor and physical therapist. However, Karlyn was very knowledgeable and understanding. She was able to provide stretching exercises and more to help me recover. She definitely saved me money and trips from the doctor’s and physical therapist’s office!

I’ve been working with Karlyn for about 7 months and I would highly recommended to anyone looking for a trainer. As someone who doesn’t love to workout, she does a great job of meeting me at my level, explaining what and why we’re doing things (but not over explaining), and pushing me when I need it. I can definitely feel myself getting stronger!

I’ve been working with Karlyn for a few months now and I literally couldn’t ask for a better trainer. This is my first experience with a personal trainer and it’s been amazing. She’s so great at hyping you up and making you feel like you can do anything. She always walks me through each exercise and shows me how to do everything while making sure i feel comfortable and safe. She pays attention to ensure im doing things correctly and is incredibly encouraging! Not to mention she’s a wonderful conversationist! I couldn’t recommend enough!

I've been working with Karlyn a little over a year now and I've had some amazing changes not only physically but mentally. I originally started with her to improve on not only my overall physique but I wanted extra help with my leg days . Legs are my least favorite lift so I needed an extra push to reach my fullest potential and Karlyn has provided that extra boost that I needed. In the last year I've not only made amazing leg gains but I've also gained the confidence I needed to make it through leg days on my own and not limit myself since mental blocks are a thing. My form has been perfected and constructive criticism has been provided . 10/10 would recommend if you're looking for a trainer in the area.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    I offer a free consultation session to best help you make your decision. This consultation is where I will take you through a typical training session for you to get a feel for my training style. We will also see where you're at physically and be able to talk about your goals and needs. I have several packages I offer and would like to think there's a package to fit everyone's needs as I'm competitive with the current market pricing.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    It's always a blessing when people want to get in the best shape of their lives. It's exciting! And with that It is important to me that I am a good match for you otherwise that cannot be achieved . I prefer to have an in person consultation before a decision is made on using my services to see if we are the right fit, I don't want to waste your time or mine. Once it is a match I ask for my clients to fill out a questionaire form to better create a customized plan for your fitness goals. From there on out.....THE FUN BEGINS:)!

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I am NASM certified and also have a background in power lifting, I truly believe this is the best method anyone ever taught me for learning proper form on core lifts and I utilize it to also proper form to my clients. I do not claim to be a power lifter or set up programs that are power lifting specific however if you want a trainer who will help you improve your lifts along with injury prevention through execution of proper form I am fully capable of doing that for you!
