FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do not. I have an hourly rate for jobs that have variety and that are difficult to bid. If a job is straightforward, I offer a bid.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Make a friend first then allow that to work into a business relationship. A customer wants a high quality job with someone that they can trust. I try not to forget that when I am in another's house, they are vulnerable. I have been placed in a position of trust. I hope to earn that trust. I strive to transcend the idea that this is a cold business deal. The customer will think about the work long after I have spent the funds I earned from the job. I want my customers to be glad that I have done the work for them.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a licensed and insured handyman in Utah. I have had a contractors license for many years in the past. I have received the home improvement certification from the Contractors State License Board in. California.
