- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I usually find out what the issue is over the phone, and can give a fixed price, which includes labour and material. If the issue described is extensive and needs me to take a look before quoting, then I let them know. There are times a fixed price quoted can change due to other issues faced during the job process.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Before I start working with a new customer, I have the customer describe to me any plumbing issue they are having. If it is extensive and I need to come and view the job before quoting a price, then I let them know that right away. If it is a job that is simply described, then I can easily give a quote upfront.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a certification in Backflow. I have 6 years experience in Plumbing.
