Steve was great. His pricing was unbeatable and quality of work was flawless. He even let me borrow his propane heater for another job I had going on. Great guy and great worker! I do have to mention, there was an issue with responsiveness and punctuality on the second day, but other than that, everything went well and was great! Highly recommend Steve for any drywall task!Jan 6, 2019Verified
Steve hung new dry wall in a dining room and in the ceiling. He was so affordable, was here when he said he would be, very nice guy and his work looks great! Will definitely be using him again to do our basement!Apr 22, 2017Verified
Steve was very prompt to come give a bid for the mudding and taping of my basement remodel. In fact, he started the job the very next day. Price was very good! The basement looks great! We are happy to finally be at this point in our project.Jan 12, 2017Verified
Steve initially did a good job. He didn't always show up on time, but he gave me a fair price and promised his work was guaranteed for as long as I owned the house and he would come back if I needed anything fixed I was unhappy with. He didn't do under my stairs but agreed to come back and finish it even though we initially didn't specifically agree to that. He was paid promptly even though there were still some issues that needed to be finished. That was 6 weeks ago. I know it's my fault for trusting someone when they say they will do something and maybe I shouldn't have paid until everything was in satisfactory condition to paint but now I'm left with corners unfinished, ceiling still not textured under the stairs and just lots of places that needed to be cleaned up. I'm stuck trying to fix it myself or paying someone else to come in and fix what I can't. Can't recommend. *Response to Steve's comments below: I have never treated you poorly. In my review you'll notice, I mentioned that you did under the stairs for me. But you didn't finish. You left me with an untextured ceiling bit which if you weren't going to finish it, why come and start it? The pictures are all your work Steve and I have other pictures of other spots that are the same. No one else has touched the drywall or damaged it in any way. You left corners unfinished. You told me you were coming back with stilts to sand the upper corners and you didn't. You told me you would make sure I was happy with the finish and then instead, you just ignore me. You tell me you are coming, make me wait around all day and then tell me sorry you'll get to me tomorrow and then still don't show up. I'm not an unreasonable person Steve. I paid you, even when you offered me a $200 discount, I still paid you what we agreed upon so don't pretend like your the victim who's been taken advantage of. You did not live up to what you said you would it's that simple.Feb 8, 2017VerifiedSteve sheppard's reply
Bren i went back to your house so many times. The last time you left me sitting at that door.I offered to give your money back. I tried everything I could do to end this in a resonable maner. I have never experienced anything like this in 27 years and pray I never do again. I wish you well on the rest of your project.
Steve did an amazing job. He also was very accommodating to my limited schedule. He does quality work and a delight to work with. I’ll definitely be using him the future and will be referring everyone I know to him. 👍👍Dec 9, 2018Verified
