Ivan is very talented as a musician although that doesn't always translate into a good teacher. With Ivan it translates very well!!! Kind,patient , and when you are with him YOU are the only one that matters!! If it wasn't for life throwing a couple curve balls, I would still be under his tutelage. Bass, piano, guitar. Ivan is an excellent teacher!!

Taking guitar lessons from Ivan aka "Big Ive" has been a wonderful experience. I'm learning much more than I imagined -- music theory, how to practice, etc. He is very knowledgeable and has a great way of explaining concepts in simple and memorable terms.
As a beginner, I didn't know what to expect. Big Ive challenges me and that is great. Now, my expectations for myself are high. I highly recommend him as an instructor.

Mr. Williams is an excellent instructor. He's very knowledgeable of music theory and is equally as patient with teaching it,regardless of your level of experience. He's much more concerned with educating his students on how to be proficient players of their instruments than he is with making money off of them- and it shows through his lessons!
