About this pro
Great experience working with them!Aug 2, 2018Verified
Jessi responded to the request very promptly; very punctual and professional when we met up to view/discuss the project; quality of work very good -- did what was requested. Pricing of $35/per hour/per person no problem. Value a bit high for what was done. No indication on the invoice as to how many people it took to do the work only stated 9 hours of work at $35.00/hour. I wish I could have been home to view the job being done. Motivated to upkeep the garden areas cleaned after paying for this project. Will use them in the future to get guidance on some areas that need plantings.Jul 20, 2018VerifiedJessie B.'s reply
Thank you for the feedback! We'll consider adding a number of staff to our invoices in the future. Since 9 hours was within the quoted range of 8-10 hours, please let us know if there's anything you feel we missed or could have done better during your clean-up. We're always looking to improve our services and communication, so feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any other feedback!
Jessi and her team have been great in all respects. The initial evaluation was easy and thorough, and the work being done has been top notch, my yard looks fantastic! Jessi and her team have been very willing to work with me to ensure the unique needs of my yard are taken care of. So far the work they have done has been thorough and quality and I plan to continue to use their services in the future.Jul 14, 2018Verified
The Soe Harvest crew arrived on time, worked efficiently, and did a very good job of removing rock, fabric, and dead plants from my small garden space. They also installed and leveled brick edging, carefully planted a tree and small shrub, and gave me advice on how to care for the plants. A very good experience that I would repeat.Jun 3, 2018Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? For an initial consultation (up to two hours), the price is $125, regardless of garden size. For garden coaching, the price is $75 per hour, regardless of size. A full list of my services and pricing can be found on my website, which is the most user-friendly way to describe them. Most services are based on 300 square feet or less of garden space. If your garden is larger than that, please let me know the square footage, and the service you are interested in, and I will send you more detailed pricing information.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? Here at Soe Harvest, we usually start with an initial consultation. This can be either a 15 minute conversation to determine whether Soe Harvest is a good fit for your garden needs, or it could be our two hour consultation for $125, where we come out to your garden and talk through the specifics of what you'd like to do with the space. During that two hour consultation, we also discuss your options for further services, such as garden coaching, design, planting, maintenance, and harvest help.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have been growing food in a variety of climates for most of my life, and preserving food for winter consumption for the last ten years. Formal education-wise, I have a Master's Degree in Environmental Leadership from Naropa University in Boulder, CO, where I focused on Urban Farming. For two years, I worked on an urban farm in Boulder and developed curricula for teaching garden skills to youth and adults. I also worked at the Denver Botanic Gardens in their Education department for 4 years.
