FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The "market rate" for a standard therapy session in Maryland is $120. I'll admit (owner speaking, here) I, myself, experienced sticker-shock when I first heard that price! Clinicians at The E-Therapy Group strive to make therapy as affordable as we can so you can see your sessions through to completion. Please contact me or view our website for our sliding scale (applies only to online sessions). The E-Therapy Group does not currently accept insurance, however we can provide the documentation you need to request reimbursement from your insurance company.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First you will typically have an email or phone consultation with a staff member to determine which clinician's expertise is best for you. Your first few sessions will give you and your therapist a chance to get to know one another including the reasons you are seeking treatment, and to set a goal or two. This will lay the foundation for the work you will do moving forward. You may have homework between sessions to apply what you learn.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
At E-Therapy Group, each clinician is licensed at the highest level for their profession in the State of Maryland. Some have additional certifications, dependent upon specialty.
