Kathy did an awesome job with my dog for the 3 weeks she took care of her. She sent me daily pics and my dog was very healthy and seemed happy. She created a temporary home for my pup and my mind was completely at ease. I am so happy to have found Kathy. I have highly recommended her to friends and look forward to doing business with her again.

About this pro

I give you the peace of mind you need for the care of your pet while you're away. I have been pet parent to many dogs as well as cats. Currently, my fur baby is 9 years old rescued from a puppy mill when he was 2 months old. :) Your dog is given the same amount of love and care as I do for my own. In home dog boarding provides a normal, natural environment with lots of love. We have a fenced, spacious backyard but your dog is not left unattended, and is always accompanied by me to play, exercise and attend to needs. My goal is to make your furbaby feel as relaxed here as in your own home. We have a doggie den they can freely come and go when they need to and have quiet nap times. Small dogs love the playpen set up just for them! For larger guests, we fold the playpen away. They have free run of the house, within reason, and make themselves quite comfortable! With daily photos, via text or email, I will keep you updated on your pet's visit, so you can enjoy your vacation and know they are having a wonderful time, too! I ask you to bring their own food to avoid digestive issues. You're welcome to bring any toys and other comfort items they may have, such as blankets and beds. This is because most dogs feel separation anxiety the first night and these things help them stay rest assured they're safe. Little ones who sleep in your bed will sleep in mine. I provide a fun and friendly place for your dog to be happy in when you're away, with the personal care and attention that a commercial dog kennel just isn't able to provide. If you need your dog crated to keep within a training routine, just bring it with you! Please let me know if your pet has any quirks or odd behaviors I should be made aware of, sensitive areas of the body which shouldn't be touched, special diets that need to be followed or anything at all that you feel is important to his or her well being. If your pet has been diagnosed with any medical issue I can administer meds, please let me know all the details for the protection of your, and my own, dog. Up to date rabies records needs to accompany your furkid during his or her visit. I typically watch for one pet parent at a time - Occasionally reservations may over-lap. At this time, we're unable to accommodate cats for boarding. I'm happy to come to your home for their care, though. Here's where we'll take our walks when boarding and weather permits - I will walk your dog around my very safe neighborhood. I do not take your dog to dog parks where they could be put in jeopardy. I take this responsibility very seriously, and protect your dog so you can relax when you're away. I'm a member of the National Association for Professional Pet Sitters (NAPPS). NAPPS members have unlimited access to educational resources and training to help increase knowledge on providing excellent pet care. I'm also Red Cross CPR Certified, insured and bonded with Pet Sitters Assocs for pet sitting in your home. I'm happy to come to you to care for your pet. Short stays to long stays to everything in between, we're as close to home as it gets. I give you the peace of mind you need for the care of your pet while you're away. Let your pet stay today in a PAWSitively pawsome loving home!
