FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We do offer private pay rates, but most people prefer to go through their health insurance. In those cases, we have contracted with the insurance companies and have rates that are determined in that contract. Many plans have co-insurances and co-payments that are paid out of pocket by the patient. More and more we are seeing deductible plans where the patient may have to play the first $1,000-$2,000 out of pocket prior to the insurance "covering" the services. We recommend people check with their health insurance company to verify their benefits. Private pay rates will vary from $125-$75/ visit.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, patients are seen for an initial evaluation on their first visit. During this time, one of our therapists will take baseline measurement of mobility and strength, while also looking at posture and the ability to complete tasks. After that is completed, we will develop a plan that will include 1-3 visits a week for 4-8 weeks depending on the needs and availability of the patient. Some cases may require more than 8 weeks of treatment, depending on the patient's response to treatment, or surgical procedures that may have been performed. In many cases, patients will be given exercises to complete at home as well.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our physical therapists have a Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy. Our therapist also regularly participate in continuing education courses in and out of the clinic to expand their knowledge.
