FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge much like a hotel, by how many nights the dog stays, or if I go to their home by the number of visits. I do custom quotes as needed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically we agree on a day and time to meet and introduce the dogs. Sometimes people prefer to come to my home and that is fine, so they can see where the dog will be staying. Some people prefer neutral territory so we meet at the dog park. I'm very flexible so whatever the client is comfortable with.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a pet owner my whole life but in 1999 when I got my first dog as an adult I knew at that time that I could never be without a dog. I had a dog come into my life a couple of years later who had chronic ear infections, allergies, thyroid problems and other ailments. He was on a lot of medication throughout his life and later in life became deaf. I learned to communicate with handsignals and trained him to understand what I wanted. Those 2 dogs lived very long full lives and passed several years past their life expectancy.
