FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For just painting walls my price is always the same. It starts to increase if additional labor is needed for prepping the space (moving furniture, removing wallpaper, patching holes etc.) Before I give an exact quote I like to come by and look at the area in detail so I can know exactly what I'm getting into and can let my client know exactly how much each job will cost so there's no surprise charges.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
In the painting business, there are always new customers. Before I start a job or quote a price, I like to meet with the customer and look at the space together and point out what I might have to charge extra for. Also to brainstorm with the customer and find out exactly what they want for their space before I take on a job.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have no formal education on design or anything. I learn from past experience and also have a natural creative talent that helps me visualize what a room could look like with different colors.
