- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $95.00 a hour, commercial $105.00 and a service fee of $45.00 I offer senior citizen discount and for veterans there is no service fee'. A payment plan with 6% interest. Some quotes are given by the job and not by the hour. Also accept payment by credit card.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I address their electrical questions if they do not understand how the process works. Listen closely and give general information of what the problem is.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to Trade School to learn how to become a electrician in 1978 completed a two year course and got my certificate. Also completed two years of electrical code class to obtain my electrical license. I worked at North Landing Electric for 5 years. Started working weekends with my father who was a master electrician with over 30 plus years of service with the government. I took over my fathers business after his passing in 2001 and I’m now the owner of ChismanShelby Electric with a master license.
