- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing fluctuates, depending on the project or production. We will give a 10% introductory discount on all new clients. When creating a proposal, we will develop it according to the project; typically, it is a flat fee, with hourly pay to cover anything above and beyond the accepted proposal.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, we like to meet with you, either in person or over the phone, so you can get a chance to know us. We want you to be comfortable and confident in our abilities. This gives you the opportunity to ask questions or raise concerns. After this initial interview/meeting, we create a proposal and give you time to review it. After you review it, we'll make suggested changes that benefit both parties, and begin the work. Throughout the process, we believe it is important for you to be involved and communicated with, so you can clearly see the direction and vision for the design, production, or project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
For years we have worked in the industry designing for multi million dollar start-ups, professional sports teams, projects for major entertainment companies, small business creative, products from energy drinks to skin care and everything in between. And now we've consolidated our skills and created Studio Joal. From concept-and-strategy to implementation, we will see you through the whole process to deliver only the best in design. Joel has a bachelor's of science in digital cinematography, and Thom has 15 years of design experience.
