Introduction: I am new to Thumbtack but not to the industry. I am a Cleveland based makeup artist with over 20 years of experience in the beauty industry. My passion is helping women feel beautiful. My specialty is listening to what you want. I am available for all the special occasions of your life. I have the following experience: I have been in the beauty industry for over 20 years and have worked for Revlon, Borghese, Lancome and currently, Dior. I have also been a freelance artist to businesswomen, weddings, proms, fashion shows, video shoots, photo shoots and print work. My most recent work can be seen on the cover of American Banker Magazine, October 2015. During my career, I have had the pleasure of working with many talented makeup artists, including Ross Burton at Lancome (before he was Oprah's personal makeup artist) and most recently Dresden Buras, a nationally recognized set stylist and regional makeup artist for Dior. I have learned from and studied the best in the industry. My passion is helping women feel beautiful. I find their beauty from within and just enhance it a little. I recently had my wedding makeup trial with Victoria. I usually do a natural look but wanted something more glamorous (but still me!) for my wedding. Victoria did a great job and I felt that she really understood the look I was going for. When I got home, my fiancé couldn't stop complimenting me and telling me how beautiful I looked! Also, the makeup looked fresh for hours so I'm confident it will last on the big day.

The standard pricing in the industry is dependent on the occasion and experience. I keep my pricing competitive based on my experience but am always willing to negotiate.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I get a new client, I typically like to ask about your special occasion, what will you be wearing, what kind of look you are comfortable with and anything else that will help me to provide you with the best service.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have hands on experience for the past 20+ years. I have taken education classes through Lancôme and Dior and have also taught classes to beauty advisors and independent distributors.
