Introduction: DWI Representation Being charged with a crime in North Carolina can be a very stressful experience, especially if it involves the complex web of North Carolina's DWI laws. As an associate attorney at Minick Law, P.C.'s Wilmington office, I strive to provide detailed and comprehensive legal representation to my clients with a focus in DWI offenses. I have also successfully completed the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s course on DUI Detection and Standardized Field Sobriety Testing, a 24-hour course taught to officers trained in DWI investigations. If you or someone you know has been charged with a crime in New Hanover, Brunswick, Pender, or Onslow counties, please don't hesitate to contact my office by phone or through our website for a free consultation on your case. Personal Injury Representation A serious injury from an accident is a traumatic experience which impacts every aspect of your life: your health, your finances and your family. You will likely have many questions: Who is responsible? Who will pay my medical bills and time missed from work? How will I obtain money from the at-fault person? At Minick Law Firm, an experienced Attorney will answer these questions. No one should have to pay the bills for an accident that wasn’t their fault. You may able to force the at-fault person to pay you for your injury, but how can you be sure that it’s a fair settlement? There may be other people responsible, but how can you be sure? Legal representation is the only way to help ensure that your case is handled properly. If you or someone you know has been injured in New Hanover, Brunswick, Pender, or Onslow counties, please don't hesitate to contact my office by phone or through our website for a free consultation on your case. I enjoy analyzing my clients' cases for legal issues, so that I can find positive resolutions to those problems. Through a methodical approach, I look at each step of a case for potential issues that may arise so that I am prepared and ready to take on the challenge. I am compassionate and understanding to my clients' problems while tough in the courtroom.

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Typically, I either talk to clients over the phone or meet with them in person for a free initial consultation about their case. After discussing their case, I communicate the strategy we would use on their case and the potential outcomes. Upon being retained, I actively manage their case from beginning to final disposition.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I attended law school at the Charlotte School of Law where I obtained a Juris Doctor degree. Along with this degree, I was awarded the Latin Honors of Magna Cum Laude. After graduating, I studied all summer for the North Carolina Bar Exam, which I later passed.
