FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
FEES NEGOTIABLE: My fees are typically in the $2000-$5000 range, however, finding a fit between my message and a client's needs is of utmost importance. I never want the fee to get in the way of a good fit. In the event that a client cannot meet my full fee, we can determine other options that could provide additional value (referrals, video testimonials, corporate-sponsored product sales for a portion of the attendees, video capture). HOLD THE DATE DEPOSIT: A 50% deposit is due upfront in order to save the date and begin crafting and customizing the program. REFERRAL DISCOUNT: Clients who refer and facilitate 5 introductions with leaders and/or meeting planners receive a 10% discount on my fee. TRAVEL: Fees include travel under 50 miles. Basic travel expenses (hotel, meals, mileage) are additional for engagements over 50 miles.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When you work with me you get the bonus of working with both a speaker and someone with deep meeting planning experience. I have executed and facilitated hundreds of events from senior leadership retreats, down to departmental meetings and everything in between. My goal is to make you look brilliant and to leave a lasting impact on your people. My first order of business is to get to know you and the culture of your organization or group, your frustrations, and your needs/wants for the program. We will schedule an in person or phone needs assessment meeting with you and, ideally, your conference planning committee. The more data that can be shared about the audience and organization or group up front, the greater the chance of creating a phenomenal tailor-made event! To aid me in preparing our program, I will typically ask for copies of the latest strategic plan (including information on mission, vision, and values if these are not posted publicly), customer satisfaction surveys, employee engagement surveys, etc. Please be thinking of any data that could help provide me with a holistic understanding of your organization. Once data has been collected, I get right to work crafting the program to fit your needs. We will touch base periodically throughout the process, paying particular attention to areas in the program that have been customized for your group. Final handouts and materials are provided 1-2 weeks before the event. Immediately following the event or after feedback has been collected we will touch base again to debrief the session. In an ideal world, we will keep the conversation going, finding ways to embed the strategies into the day-to-day business. This can take the form of webinars, longer training programs with groups, and consulting and coaching services.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
* BA, Interdisciplinary Studies (Focus: Music Performance and Anthropology) Essentially, this was a degree that forced students to find connections and synergies between seemingly separate disciplines. My understanding of culture and my platform skills as a singer, actress, and speaker were not only strengthened, but my worldview and thinking were deeply impacted as a result. * MA, Transformative Leadership & Social Change Several years later, I entered a masters degree program in Transformative Leadership & Social Change at Maryland University of Integrative Health, one of the nation's leading wellness graduate schools. This program was multidisciplinary and looked at leadership and change through a wellness lens, inspiring a servant-leader approach. * Executive Coach Training, Newfield Network (2 levels) In the early 2000's, the early days of coaching, I completed two coaching training programs with pioneer accredited coach training organization, Newfield Network. In addition to being a student, I served in a marketing/sales role as the right hand assistant to the CEO. This training provided deep education into the field of personal transformation which planted the seed for my work in adaptability and change.
